I may be biased, since I was married in my backyard on a beautiful spring day such as this, but this was certainly one of the most sincere and enjoyable weddings we have shot. Laura and Robert were married in the backyard of their parents house, which sits on the edge of Lake Norman. Lanterns were hung throughout the yard and the wedding had a magical feel to it. I didn’t see any fairies though. Yes, I was looking!
Laura, being a big locally grown food advocate, had all their catering from local farms and sources. This was really great to experience, as my wife and i are also big local food supporters! The food was fantastic, of course, and thanks for feeding your photographer!
Their wedding coordinator, Shanika Butts of SJB Weddings and Events, did a fantastic job with every detail, and was a pleasure to work with.
